Legoboy turned ten this week. January 5th 2011 he ran from fingers, to celebrate I figured I would upgrade the chase. Happy Birthday Legoboy. Want to see more of his collection, click here.

Anna is in the middle of her last recital weekend. Her last recital is Sunday, then she graduates from the studio that is a part of our family. Anna has been at Medway Dance Authority since 2004. I love watching her dance. I wrote boundless for her many years back after a show.

I wish I could remember who, but one of the kids I photographed over the holidays was talking Legos with me. She made a comment about how cool it would be if we could just change heads like Lego guys and be that figure for the day. The idea stuck with me, I have been trying to figure out the best way to show it. Took some time, I currently have 104 headless figures and it did not come together until I added the PJs. So who would you be?

I can’t go anywhere, but the traveling Lego guy can.

Another year complete, making it a set of seven. Seven years completed, new photo every day. Tomorrow is day 001/365, I love when the year is new, I have said it before, the weight of the 300’s is heavy. Each year I assume I have less viewers, each year I get a handful of new ones. Some do not realize the history of this project. New photo every day, taken on that day (it is rare it is not I promise you). It started as a 31 day project, on October 1, 2009 when it was just the photo. The words and blog showed up on September 30, 2012. If you really want to hear about the project, and see me without a beard, you can check out an interview from a few years back thanks to Ray Auger and WMRC, click here I start at min 19:52.
If you do look all the time, now and then, or even once a year, feel free to drop a note or even share the post. I love to hear from you. Thank you for looking, suggestions welcome for the number themed post of #2922 next year on this date. Thanks to Dawn for the lottery ticket idea… let’s hope tomorrow’s dailypic is a stack of cash.

The Hat of Legoboy
January 6, 2015
I introduced Legoboy to the dailypic 6 years ago this week. Run, Legoboy, Run was his first photo. The kids got some boxes for Christmas ’09 that you could take to a Lego store and fill up. So we did, they filled the boxes, I got 3 new minfigs I put together from the mix and match stand. Legoboy was born, gray pant, black shirt, white hands, red cap and scared face. At the start, there was one time, a couple of years ago I found myself in the Lego Store again and figured a couple extras might make sense. Especially after the KISS incident of ’13, the back of the original Legoboy’s head is singed and melted due to a fall into fire used for a KISS photo I had done. He survived fire, ice, sand, hurricanes and clowns. Happy Birthday Legoboy.

The Doctors
December 14, 2015
I picked up this set while Christmas shopping last week, I have never seen an episode, but I thought it would be a cool set to have. I will change that I have not seen a recent show, I watched one episode when I was little, by accident while flipping through the 7 channels when I should had been sleeping. I did not sleep for a month without the fear that that curly-haired, scarf wearing freak would get me. It seems like a show I would like though, I like people that like it, but I don’t have time for a new series. I am waiting for Breaking Bad to come back, or at least get a Lego Set. I would know how to pose Walter White and Jess at the Winnebago, this set I had no idea on what to do with the figures. Do the Doctors know each other? Who is the woman? Is the Gray Hawkman good or bad, and the (Daleks)I think that is right, are they butlers? Chekc out the timlapse I made of the build and more photos below.

The Stlyings of one Harley Quinn
August 19, 2015
So, a couple of #toywednesdays ago I said I was working on something, then posted a picture of Lego Harley Quinn. Well, this was what I was working on. A special photo for a great guy, Mr. Joe Medeirios, the talented Artist, Illustrator and Writer… never heard of him? Your loss, look the man up he is a legend. His lovely bride commissioned me to put a special photo together for his Birthday using Ms.Quinn, and this was the result. Joe has received it and his review was “love it”. You got a special toy? keepsake? Something that might make a great photo for a special someone, let me know. I can always use a new subject to toss in front of the camera.
