This is Dolly, she lives in my basement. I saved her for a quarter at Brimfield Fair a few years ago, I was told she was found in a barn, but who knows. When we added on a few years back the contractor had to cut access through the 140 year old granite foundation. Now there is a black hole that leads to the crawl space under the new part of the house. I let Dolly live there, she ain’t hurting anyone. Eye contact is not a strong suit, hers don’t move anymore and she could use some chap stick, but I’m not touching her. There she stands just waiting for some one to come down the stairs and hug her… and she will continue to wait.
