One of the best days of the year. Yes, I know the NFL wants us to believe that the Thursday night game was the start of the season, but we all know the truth. Even the years my team have played the Thursday opener ,it still felt wrong, opening day is Sunday. I block the day each year and consume as much as a I can. The Patriots had a rough time with the Bills, minus some stupid Bills penalties and I don’t thing there would have been a last-minute go ahead field goal. A win is a win, going to be an interesting season with all these new names. Good luck to all your teams… expect when they play New England, unless you’re a Giants fan, then you just go ahead and lose each game (yes, I am still bitter, but I own it).
