It is rare that I will sit and do nothing, I am not one of those people who relaxes well. I had a root canal late this afternoon, it left me with no desire to mow the lawn like I had planned, so, I just sat and watched the birds. At one time there were 23 in my yard. These on the feeder and a bunch more on the ground below. They were joined by 2 squirrels and a rabbit. It was a scene from Snow White unfolding in front of me, until the dog flipped out and cleared the area protecting his land like the evil witch he is.
