Yr7•173-366•2364•Visit the Bunny

I had a busy weekend, two band sessions, the talent show, family session, the Tradesman Party and The Lions Club of Medway’s Annual Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. This little guy was my favorite of the few years I have shot the Easter Bunny event. He was so excited, he could only wave for the first minute or so. He was in awe. I look forward to working with the Lions at their events, the Father Daughter Dance, the Pancake Breakfast.  I get to see so many of the families from my town, while helping a great organization. Next up with the Lions Club is the Grown Up Prom on April 1st. I will be there taking prom photos… maybe a few awkward ones, join us for a great night.

Yr7•045/365•2236 Reunion November 14, 2015

November 14, 2015

Ran a photo-booth for the Medway High School’s Class of 1975 reunion tonight. I hope I can stay out that late at my 40th reunion in 2031, judging by how tired I am after their reunion, I have my doubts. I am sure their party will not end until the sun comes up. Thanks for having me.

Yr5•325/365•1786 With The Boy August 22, 2014

Nothing wrong with a selfies now and then, without them I would not have many photos with me in them.  To be honest I owe a lot to selfies… without them a lot of things would be different.  I once owned a 1-hr photo lab in Medway, The Photoshop. I bought it from a family in 1996, prior to that I worked there, prior to that I was a customer, prior to that I had a habit of picking up other people’s cameras and taking photos of myself (selfies before they were cool). I am talking 1991, 1992, which seems so far away now.  One day in the early 90’s I walked into Copi’s Photo – and the woman behind the counter said “you are the guy in all the photos!”. Apparently all those times I had picked up others cameras, many time without even knowing who owned the camera, had made an impression on the people that developed the film. They may have been the only ones who appreciated the humor in my running gag. I am sure there are photos of me that have been thrown away over and over from that time.  We got to talking, a few months later I was working there 1 day week, then a few days a week, eventually full-time and within years I owned the place.  It all started with selfies, before they even had a name. It feels like there should be a moral to this story, I have no idea, it would have been nice to end with one.  I know I pissed  a few people off with the photos. Film was precious back then. Oh well, if you might have one of my early 90’s selfies let me know. I do promise if you ever had something other than a face on a roll of film that you didn’t know where it came from, well that was NOT me… but I do know a guy it might be. That’s a different story.

Union Station Prom
May 16, 2014

I ran a photobooth at a prom tonight, first prom.  I have set up at a ton of events, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Birthday Parties, Reunions, Charities… just never a High School Prom. Westborough Class of 2015 had their’s tonight at Union Station in Worcester. A beautiful location for any event. The kids were awesome, some of the nicest, most appreciative group of people I have had through the booth. It was also the first time I had Danny assist on a function this large, we had a great time. We are both tired, it was also the steadiest crowd we had, it never stopped. Time for sleep.
