Absorbed some more music last night, my wife and I saw Ellis Paul play again, this time in the intimate setting of a funeral home. The Sumner House in Shrewsbury, MA, which on its own is something to see – as long as you are on the right side of a casket – played host to Ellis and Gregg Cagno. I brought Ellis a framed copy of one of my photos from New Year’s Eve at Passim, got some things signed and even snuck in a selfie with him, using a 10lb camera. It was a great night.
