I got a new sticker for my case today. It cost me only 10 minutes at the Middle School. There was a time I loved to talk/argue politics, especially around this time of year, then I stopped – cold turkey, one of the best decision I have ever made. It is possible to be political and silent at the same time. I follow all the races, the questions, the hypocrisy… I just choose not to debate and discuss. It is my experience that no one changes there stance based off a conversation, especially the ones that are willing to take a public stance. I will choose to watch from the sidelines and vote as I see fit. I will continue to follow my own 2 rules: 1. Never make a decision based off a sign or an ad, and 2. Allow myself to change my mind, it is OK to evolve, adjust and reevaluate, it is not a sign of weakness. Happy Mid-Term to you and yours, may your candidates win and questions pass, and no matter what, the attack ads stop and the phone stops ringing… for a few months at least.
