Another jam packed week of sessions, I find myself on a Tuesday that feels like a Monday in the studio at 10:30pm without a dailypic. Instead I am packing for tomorrows School Sessions at Tri County Regional High School. The Seniors get their school photos tomorrow starting at 8 am and I am setting up the equipment I need on the floor. I start with the back and work my way to the front. It has always worked for me. So why not take a photo. C-Stand with extension arm to hold the hair light, full length mirror to stand next to the backdrop, backdrop, blue, with backdrop stand, strip box modifier with low floor stand to light the backdrop, eye lighter reflector with stand, mat for the students to know where to stand, tripod, 5 foot umbrella and large stand. In the first bag all the camera equipment, the second the batteries and extra parts. Black box the main strobe light for the umbrella. Back to front. Packed.

This is a great composition. As a student, then as a teacher for decades, I never thought about the preparations behind the annual school pictures. And the feet add a touch of humanity and humor to the display of equipment.
