I shot a roll of film in Boston, along the water near Fan Pier and Atlantic Ave. I took the Widelux and the Hasselblad with me for the walk. The Hasselblad was not loaded correctly. No one to blame but me. Stupid mistake (that will only happen once), so all I have is the Widelux images. Sad because I really liked some of the shots I would have had with the Hasselblad – it means I need another walk. These panoramic images are a great consolation price, though. The best part of the walk was in front of the Boston Harbor Hotel. There were some sports cars on display. People were taking photos and posing with them. As far as I could tell, a few young men in their 20s were offering to take pics using their nice cameras. One of them saw me take a photo (the one with the cars below) and dashed over to me which made me feel old.
Him: “Excuse me, you shooting real film… with a film camera?”
Me: “Yes, I am”
Him: “Wow, I have never seen anyone shoot real film before. That is so cool.”
Me: “I am from a different century.”
Him: “Oh cool” <walks away less impressed>
Wife: Just laughed at me.

You felt old because he “dashed” and you walk slowly? Good comeback line though……
Great shots, the last one is the best!
