There is nothing sadder and more frustrating than RFOMO (Reyka’s Fear of Missing Out). I blame a few factors, first, us – I am sure somewhere this is our fault, bad training, or something. Second, C*VID (btw, I have to use the * for an O or the internet, really Facebook, flags my post about being an update on the pandemic – crazy right?), many C*VID Dogs do not realize people have lives, work, errands, bathroom time, they are a little needy. And Third, well, Third… Third Child syndrome. She is the third Bernese we have had in five years. Birth order is important and that third child is always a crapshoot, if you disagree, well you might be the third child. I myself am a first child so I know these things, along with everything else, and am usually correct.

Today we are planning a drive to Maine. Back and forth to the truck to prep, deal with the ice and you would think I have abandoned this dog with strangers. The whining, the watching, little does she know she is going with me. As long as she calms the ‘f’ down. Anyway, that’s why the early post, stay tuned for tomorrow to see what I find in Maine, probably just more ice.

Can you feel the eyes burning through you? I am sure the sound effects only add to the sadness of the situation. The hole in the fence is perfect for a dog’s head. Well planned.
