Good Morning October

Every now and then the title drives the photo, today was one of those days. I woke up knowing what to call the shot, I needed the sunrise, warm light and since it is October I wanted to try to show the season. I headed to a favorite spot for early morning light – Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston MA right on Lake Winthrop. Nothing like starting your birthday off in a cemetery to remind you the number you’re turning is irrelevant.

Calming and really beautiful – a great way to begin the month and a reminder of why I enjoy this season so much despite the fact that winter is coming!
