Two years ago, today, we brought Josie home, the last thing the breeder said to us was, “call me when you are ready for the second one.” We laughed… and now here we are, picking out Berner number two – Sir Argus Fezzic the Giant, ‘Gus’. Gus is 5 weeks old, he will be coming home mid-May. We had two males to choose from, it was hard yet easy. We could not go wrong, but Gus was ready the second I saw him, the rest of the fmaily came to the conclusion fairly quick. Josie and Gus have the same dad, their Uncle Kash, who we met 2 years back was there too, giving everyone hugs. Now we wait, and try to explain to Josie how she will still be important just not an only ‘child’, I was about the same age when my sister showed up, I know how this works.
