Nothing Like a Dragon
September 2, 2015
Day 2 of the bugs in my yard, the following is a true story. I had some errands to do after work, back and forth to the house a few times. Each time I left and came back this was in my sight. On a flower, on the grill, on the leaf, on the wall, but I had stuff to do, so I ignored it. While working in the yard it was taunting me, take my photo, posing long enough for me to get the camera, so I did. It landed on the leaf, I had to lie, lay, lown, whatever the right word is, flat on the grass face to face with the fly. Two to three shots and it was gone. It had posed, it wanted me to take its photo but refused me enough time. It flew away so fast I never saw it leave, I lowered the camera and it was on the lens. On the damn lens, literally the one place in the world I can not shoot a photo of it. Stupid Dragonfly.
