I usually do not browse town pages, you know, the ones every town has. I like not knowing what everyone is thinking and bothered by. My family has been told numerous times not to tell me what is going on with them either, yet they still do. My wife pointed out someone said Choate Park did not look nice, and it was dirty. Now I live there this time of year, sessions every day, numerous times each day. It always looks great. The person was referring to the pond being low on water. The answer seemed obvious – science, drought, lack of rain, etc. But I got sucked into the post, and I was on my way to the pond for multiple sessions today. So, between one of them, I took some pictures of the “Not Nice, Dirty” pond. The water is low, and the algae are showing, but like any of us with proper nutrients, in this case, water – we would not look our best either. I chose to find the beauty in the park and understand and look forward to the ‘moods’ it gives us each day. The good news is the post inspired a dailypic on a busy day where I did not have time for one, so I am thankful for it.
