While working on our house, we found some old newspapers acting as insulation. All from a week in April 1928. Most fell apart as they were opened, but the April 6th Boston Evening Globe is readable. The classifieds are the most entertaining. $20 rent sounds good.

Very interesting! What a difference in 100 years.
Camping in Dover? 🙂
Very cool and imagine how it’s “weathered” so many cold and stormy days and nights!!
“This old house.”….indeed!! Maybe those walls do “talk”!!
Thanks for sharing! Love the advertisements. History is so fascinating.
