My camera and I are part of so many great things. There is nothing better than weddings. I have no absolute count on how many I have done, I tried to figure it out, and since the first one I photographed as an assistant in 1993, I feel an accurate estimate would be around 250 over 30 years if I include elopements and renewals. Two hundred fifty opportunities to be a part of five hundred people’s special days. A pure honor.

The honor is only more special when it is a family you have known for decades. I met the groom when he was only 4 or 5—his brothers when they were even younger. To see them all again today to celebrate Jack and Peggy’s wedding was special. A perfect wedding to two incredible people surrounded by the love of family and friends. Congratulations, Jack and Peggy. Thank you for inviting me to be part of your day.
