I am documenting a few scrapbooks for a family. Clippings, cards, letters, and photos from World War II. Among the collection were some Hallmark cards from the 40s. This one is a Birthday card specifically for soldiers. It looks like it is hand-drawn and homemade yet is branded by Hall Brothers 1943. I tried to find info about it online, proving how spoiled we are, I assumed I could put the number into Google, and there would be a database of cards Hallmark has made. One was not found. Though I did read a piece that implies the number could mean only 25 made, I can not confirm—a great little bit of history.

At that time it was probably easy to find a card for someone in the service. Now one has to search .
Beautiful detailed card.
