One of the few waterfalls I have not seen/photographed in New Hampshire. Bridal Veil Falls at the top of Coppermine Trail in Franconia. Says it is a five-mile round trip, but with the lot being where it is, it works out to be more like six miles. Add in a third of the journey in the pouring rain, and it was still a great hike and worth it. The last part of getting up the wet rocks for the photo above was adventurous, but other than some soaked, muddy clothes and a camera bag, and it was worth it. The wetness added to all the shots throughout the hike. A great day spent with my wife for day two of our quick escape north. Tomorrow, Polly’s for some pancakes, then home.
