Today was the last full day of my photo adventure in Lubec, Maine. Since Tuesday, I have assisted the lead instructor, photography guru, and friend, Don Toothaker of Hunt Photo Education fame. I have been on many adventures with him in the past, the biggest being Cuba, but this time I was his guest instructor and co-leader. Puffins, Boats, Lighthouses, 4 am Sunrises, and the wonderful town of Lubec, Maine, were our subjects. The other 13 in the photo were the best camera companions I could ask for on my first official trip as an instructor for Hunt Photo. So many photos, I learned a lot and hopefully passed some knowledge on too. It is a place I love to find myself, teaching, talking, and sharing photography – especially when travel is involved. No matter what, we had great food and a ton of laughs. I even drove a Tesla! The dailypic will have more photos from this getaway as I unpack all the photos next week.
