Took in my first Ultimate Frisbee Game yesterday – Medway vs. Hopkinton. Medway won, but everyone had a blast. No refs, tons of laughter. I wish I had it in High School, and I might have lettered in a sport. Did you know it will be included in the 2028 Olympics? The description on Wikipedia is comical. Ultimate, originally known as ultimate Frisbee, is a non-contact team game played by players with a flying disc, flung by human. Ultimate was developed in 1968 by a group of students at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey. – ‘Flung by Human’, ha. Seriously, I would have played this all four years of High School and perhaps gone pro if I could have.

My daughter and future son-in law played all through college and now play on local teams in metro NY. They have great friendships and it seems to be a sport you can play indefinitely. Fun to watch, with great sportmanship.
