
The Worm Moon is the last full moon of winter with the solstice coming Sunday. A bracketed exposure of nine images processed in Lightroom. Shutter speed ranging from 1/1000 down to 1/4 of a second, all at f5.6, ISO 250. Taken with a 500mm lens on a Nikon Z9 with a tripod. I share the settings because one of the most common questions is, “How do I get a good photo of the moon?” Now, you do not need to follow that recipe above to get a great photo of the moon, there are many other ways, but the second part of the inquiry is usually something like… “I tried with my phone, and it does not look like yours.” 🙂
