Reyka is 6 months old today. She has been with us for 4 months. It has been the longest 11 months of my life. She is great, she really is, but she is not like the other 2. And that’s a good thing, and she is paving her own path. Josie was demure, delicate, ladylike, and Argus is just there. He takes up a lot of space but has the biggest heart, just an old soul, pure sweetness, loud. Then there is the Lady Reykjavik, tall, skinny, on the smaller side of a Bernese Mountain dog with plenty of time to still grow. Words to describe her, wiley, mischievous, Cybil, playful, smiley, clumsy, somehow scared and brave at the same time, did I say wiley? like the coyote? We love her, but like I said she is heading down a different path, and at start of that path is me probably yelling ‘come back with the remote ahole…’ oh I forgot ahole, that’s descriptive a word. Said with endearment of course.
