A new addition, a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, joined the family today. I am saying goodbye to both the Tacoma and the Mini Cooper. Today the Tacoma left, I had that truck longer than any car I ever owned. So many family trips, over 100K of my own miles in 8 years. It will be missed but it was time. I have not owned a new as in ‘all the miles will belong to me’ car in over 20 years. I paid $4500 for a brand new Geo Metro once, I am pretty sure that does not count. My camera cost more than that.
