Family trip to the Roger Williams Zoo this morning, early enough that all the animals were out and active. We saw a crane attack a worker and it’s food dish, the snow leopard actually walking around instead of hiding like it usually does and bath time for the elephants. Click here to see the whole set. Since the crowds weren’t there yet, I even got the kids to pretend they like each other and sit on the old dog statue. A quick search in the photo archives and I found a similar shot I had with my siblings. I am guessing it is about 30 years since that shot was taken. My sister looks like she is holding on for dear life, we should all go back and recreate this pose, it would be awesome if we could find the kid on the left staring at us in envy.
