For the second year in a row I started my Memorial Day Weekend running a photo booth at an incredible event: Cocktails for Courage, a cocktail party, raffle, and silent auction to raise funds for the Captain Kyle R. Van De Giesen Memorial Award Fund. This fund was established in honor of Capt. Kyle Van De Giesen, who was killed in Afghanistan on October 26, 2009. The event is organized by 12 Occasions, an event planning duo specializing in fundraising. I have worked a few of their events over the last year and can not recommend them enough. Tim. I am Kyle’s mom. I wish to thank you for your kind words and beautiful photography. We are so appreciative of all who contribute to our event in memory of Kyle. We hope to continue to remember those with whom he served and respectfully carry on his legacy. Our appreciation for all who help us do just that. Thanks again for another great year. See you in 2015!
