At the time I’m writing this I am not sure which one will end up being the dailypic. I can say they were taken 12 minutes apart. I think I prefer the one with the fence when it was darker, but we will see. Not much to add, though I did learn a few things shooting these.

  • Number 1: In the winter, when standing on an overpass, bring gloves.
  • Number 2:  People like to beep their horns at other people standing on overpasses, without gloves.
  • Number 3:  I’m not sure if it’s just Massachusetts, but apparently people cannot be trusted to walk over an overpass without the risk of jumping, so we must put 10 foot fences on all of them.
  • Number 4:  At 5 o’clock, the ratio of cars heading North and South on 495 is 2:1, in favor of South.

I need to find an overpass, where not only is the overpass road quiet, but there is no fence and the 2 sides of the highway are closer together. Suggestions welcome.

Tim, I like the composition with the fence. It gives it another level, the redish tint ties the image together and you can make up all kinds of “hidden messages” about our society and human nature to asotund the critics!!

My favorite part of Linked in is your pics. Both are great buy I agree that the first one is the best because of the glow on the fence.

I like the pic you chose. I like the red reflecting on the fence!
