A new camera has joined the timricephoto family, and this one is attached to a drone. Yes, a few weeks ago I admitted to owning a selfie stick and now I have a drone, I know, but if you can’t beat them join them I guess. So, the first test run was at Tillie’s place, my wife’s Grandmother’s house. A house she is leaving after 47 years, downsizing to a more manageable arrangement. I figured a practice run here would be a great opportunity to shoot from the sky and get her some memories before she goes. Took some photos, made an attempt at quick video (see below), it really is a great photographic tool, as long as I don’t get shot down, more events planned with it, stay tuned.

This is so awesome Tim. You did a wonderful job with your new drone! I loved the “aerial” views of the house from all angles! The video was a bit dizzying…but you covered all the back property. I realized as I watched everything, that I too was saying goodbye to the old homestead. It made me sad, but happy for my Mom that she will be in a better place where she won’t have to work so hard anymore. I was surprised that it hit me so hard that this won’t be “home” anymore. Looking forward to pics of her new place. Also of other events using your drone!
