Inspiration comes from strange places now and then. This one came from a comment (never read the comments) on a Tips and Tricks group I am in on social media. A nice enough group with lots of beginners doing great stuff, experimenting and sharing ideas. Showing my age but I used to get similar ideas from books and magazines. I could not get enough when I was starting, so I appreciate the fact beginners have so much more to pull from. And even more so, I learn/get ideas from these fresh eyes. Anyway, they go through “swings” of content. Someone drops a cool photo of a lightbulb being lit by a tablet with directions on how they did it. Then a few more do it, and share, more see it, do it, share…. until there is nothing but cool lightbulb reflection photos. I will stay that way until the next “cool” idea breaks through. I have never shared on the site, but I do like browsing it. Today there was a cool light bulb shot titled “first try”. The first comment I see is “with all due respect this is a nice image, but the lightbulb thing has been done to death”. In the commentator’s defense – they apologized after the internet did its thing. I did not comment the only thing I could add is directions on how to delete the comment, seems he has not figured that out yet. So it inspired me to do my own, and here we are. As I said, Inspiration comes from strange places now and then, even though I really do try to never read comments, or start a comment “with all due respect”.

Love this!
I agree. “ with all due respect” is not respectful.
