All A Cappella Live!

I took my son to All A Cappella Live! in Boston today. A college a cappella competition. I was happy to take him, I knew he would like it, what I did not realize was how much I would like it, but it really was great. The audience got to fill out ballots and the show was broadcast live on WERS, so listeners could vote online. The winning group was from MIT, neither Danny or I voted for them, we could net even agree with each other. All the groups were great, but he voted for the Harvard Opportunes- I am pretty sure so did the rest of the audience by the reaction, check out one of their performances from last year here. I voted for a Columbia NonSequiteur from NY. I am guessing MIT won because there was some computer application in play or an army of geeks online all at once, we were told they won last year too. Dan and I had a great time, I have already promised to try to go next year, where I am sure the winner will be MIT.
