Spent some time this evening taking photos with Elizabeth, a senior at Medway High class of 2019. One of the many seniors I have been lucky to photograph this season. Many who I have known for years through the town, sports, or in Elizabeth’s case dance with my daughter and school with my son. The world is in good hands with these young adults.

Spent the morning getting to know Chelsea and Dan as we walked around Hopedale for their engagement session. In 365 days we will be back there shooting formals right after their wedding. Let’s hope for the same beautiful weather.

Engagement session number 2 from this weekend, this time with Jennifer and Ryan. We had fun walking around Hopedale, a great place for photos, water, woods and buildings, as long as we found the shade. It’s always entertaining to watch people watch us, they wait until a break in the action and wish the couple good luck. People can’t help but smile when they see couples walking around hand in hand with paparazzi following them.

I had the honor of photographing not one soon to be married couple, but two, back to back this morning at Hopedale Pond. Melissa & Tami were first, we got rained out of a Grist Mill shoot the other day, but made the best of it, with little Roxi helping out. Their laughter was contagious, and they have an awesome date for the wedding (I love numbers) 7.7.17. Come back tomorrow for photos from the second session with Jennifer & Ryan.

Just a quick shot with the sun going down over Hopedale Pond.

Hopedale Pond was the setting for a couple of photo shoots this morning. Great sessions, but it could have been a bit warmer. After the busyness of yesterday’s milestone #1500 mosaic, I think a nice simple, single subject photo was needed. I sank in some mud getting these shots but love how the light was hitting the cat o’nine tails on the edge of the shore.
