Continuing with the color theme, today I took in the ducks resting among the saturation. Though lucky for me they are facing away from the beauty, they are missing the view.

Fall, as for many, is my favorite season. Normally we make a trip north to hide in the color of it all, but thanks to COVID, and finally being busy after months of a dried-up business, we postponed getting away. We will escape soon, but it will far be past peak foliage. The only thing keeping me from missing my trip too much is the local color has been spectacular. I do believe anything good is a tad more enjoyable this year, but the colors really seem intense. I will miss them when they are gone, for the way things are going, I am afraid of the dreariness that will be the dark winter of 2020.

Took a walk in the rain today. Foliage looks better in the rain.

Yesterday’s color at Choate Park in Medway, snapped some photos in-between family and senior sessions. The leaves popped in the last few days, also found the heron again.

The colors at the local park are breathtaking. Took the dogs, sat on a bench for an hour or so and just took it all in. I had a camera(s) with me of course.

A day in the rain, plenty of foliage and the waterfalls were full. Especially Silver Cascade in Crawford Notch.

Took a morning drive up Mt. Washington today. An eight mile drive up, first 5 – beautiful fall scenery, last three… clouds, winds, no visibility, then the peak… winter. The dogs were in heaven at the top, in the habitat they were built for. Even in these conditions, they were drawing attention from everyone. Perfect trip up.
