the dailypic 4103 yr12 085 Merry Christmas

This week’s snowman, my wife asked for this ‘Days ’til Christmas’ one to be photographed, even though it said 27 when I went to get it. No one keeps up with the numbers, rumor is Christmas is this week.

This week’s Snowman Sunday is a little glasshouse candle holder with painted windows. Candles, Fire, Snowman, don’t seem to go together, but here we are.

Yesterday was Sunday, no one told me. I missed Snowman Sunday, so here it is.

Many houses are waiting for Elves to appear on shelves these days, but in our house, my wife’s snowmen are the ones who appear. This year a tad earlier than most, but why not right? So I have promised to resurrect a dailypic feature called ‘Snowman Sunday’. Each Sunday, more of her collection. There are plenty to choose from.

Continuing with the color theme, today I took in the ducks resting among the saturation. Though lucky for me they are facing away from the beauty, they are missing the view.

Fall, as for many, is my favorite season. Normally we make a trip north to hide in the color of it all, but thanks to COVID, and finally being busy after months of a dried-up business, we postponed getting away. We will escape soon, but it will far be past peak foliage. The only thing keeping me from missing my trip too much is the local color has been spectacular. I do believe anything good is a tad more enjoyable this year, but the colors really seem intense. I will miss them when they are gone, for the way things are going, I am afraid of the dreariness that will be the dark winter of 2020.

Yesterday’s color at Choate Park in Medway, snapped some photos in-between family and senior sessions. The leaves popped in the last few days, also found the heron again.

This ’31 day’ project wraps another year, today is 366/366 the end of year eleven. The hardest year yet, since March I struggled to be motivated, there was a lack of subjects, at times it was a pain in the ass. Thanks 2020. Yet it is complete. It started so well, normal, I photographed the Patriots, eagles, winter, pets, kids, high school sports, I even made a trek to Iceland, then the very next day, it all changed. I made it through and feel back on track. On to year twelve. As always, thank you for looking. Be well.
