A Wicked Good Time

In yesterday’s post I mentioned my first job at Roche Bros. Supermarket, so today I was asked if that was my favorite job. I was a great job, but not my favorite. I was part of an issue there, I worked too much for a 14 year old. I guess now there are laws, but then I worked pretty full time plus over the summer. I would take any hours they would give me, soon after we were given new name badges, blue ones that represented we were under 16 I think. My hours were cut, I was pissed, in the end we were able to get “creative” and I got most my hours back. I thought I still had the blue name badge but I could not find it. I do however have my Newbury Comics badge. I wore this for 5 years in the 90’s, really that was the only dress code Newbury had, wear the badge – long hair helped. Now, was this my favorite job? One of them, I met some of the coolest people, many I am still in contact with.
