A few weeks ago I stopped and took a photo of K Mart before they closed. I forgot I took it. Today, I was in the lot again and noticed the signs are gone. A depressing empty lot. We used to shop there all the time as a family when I was kid, later I covered the store while I was working for Kodak. The last few years I really never had the patients to shop there, one register opened, lines of 20 people or more waiting to check out. It was time for it to go, just like, Two Guys, Bradlees, The Fair, Mars, Sears Roebuck, Caldor, Ames and all the other department stores that have closed in the area. It will be interesting to see what becomes of the lot. Below are the shots from a couple weeks ago.

Great shots! I haven’t been through Medway or Milford in two years. It is sad to see the old place closed.
