The trip is complete—seven days around Ireland with this crew. Dublin to Galway to Killarney to Kilkenny. One car, tight quarters, and we all survived. Plenty more to come back and see.
I’ve already been asked: Ireland or Iceland? Pick one? I can’t. The best analogy I have—Ireland is like a distant relative you visit. Great to see them, but there’s always some tension. (Driving on the wrong side of the road = the family member who always brings the bad potato salad.) Now, Iceland—full disclosure, I’m writing this from the Reykjavik airport—is the cool friend you don’t see all the time but get excited to make plans with. You know it could get wild.
You need both in your life. I’m lucky I got both. Better yet, I got this crew.

Wow!! Great trip. Looks like you guys had a blast. I’m glad you could all get along. That says a lot about the Rice family.!! Cheers , even with that warm crappy Guinness …
