Sunday, we leave on an adventure. These two above, my wife, me in my truck, destination Montana. (Before you think of robbing my house, it won’t be empty, my adult son does live at home, and you might wake him up if you make too much noise, so be respectful). To get Argus and Rayka ready to take the drive, they tend to smell, so today was grooming day. They must be prepared to meet and greet people in 10-12 states. The goal is to get to the Road to the Sun in Glacier National Park. There will be stops along the way, photos too, of course.
This is the closest I have ever come to flat out taking some time off from the dailypic. I have been playing with the idea for weeks that I would not post on this trip, but I will so tune in to see some of the sites I visit. What I will not be doing is writing much—going to be a quiet two weeks (maybe). The pictures will speak for me. That will be the part that takes the vacation. Tomorrow will be some photos from the Pixie Fesitval I am photographing in Medway. Then Sunday, the fun starts, first stop, is Niagara Falls.
By the way, those keeping score, that is a waistline on Argus. He has lost over 30lbs and is looking slim these days. He is like a puppy again without that extra weight.
