Ellis Paul’s song ‘The World Ain’t Slowing Down’ was released in 2000, my son Dan was released in 2001. Last night Dan sang the song with Ellis at the Memorial Hall show in Milford. I was not much older than Dan when I first met Ellis, now here I am watching Dan get to know him in music and in life, I could not be more proud. They work together on song writing via Skype – something I highly recommend to any song writer, Ellis is an incredible resource, click here for info – and for the 2nd year Dan sang some songs to kick off his show and was called up to join for one of his well known songs.
It was a great night, thank you to all who came out, thanks to Dan, Jennifer Tefft for an incredible acoustic set – go out and support this woman, see a show, you will never be disappointed. Todd for running sound like a pro, Food by Barbie for great snacks, Ray for all his work with our project Amped Up Promotions and of course Ellis who puts his trust in us to get his music out there and those pre-show pickle back shots.
