Dan asked me for a photo session today. He wanted some photos for his YouTube channel, a new Facebook page and other things like signs for upcoming shows. He sat in the studio and played while I shot. It is so cool to see his progression and drive, he has been musical since he was born, somewhere there is video of a very young Dan belting out ‘Drift Away’ while listening to it on a CD I had to make for him, it played on a loop, he would not stop listening to it until he knew all the words. I think he was 5. Chorus, Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Musical, Coffee Houses, A Capella seems like each week he is involved with something new. I am excited to see where his project will take him. He has his Cool Tunes Open Mic night at TC Scoops in Medway each 2nd Thursday of the month – next one January 11th, right after that he has a solo show at Pepperoncini’s in Milford January 13th.
