I spent the day kayaking on Lake Willoughby in northern Vermont. At times it might as well have been the ocean with the white caps and wind. It was awesome. Anna and I went out for a couple hours, then Barbie and I. It made all the annoyance that was getting a rack for the truck, to get them up here, worth it. Then we sat on the beach and watched the sunset, armed with 3 cameras. No matter where we go we look like tourists, well equipped tourists. I told the kids I would post their favorite shots too, so first we have Anna’s sunset shot with a lensbaby and then Danny’s Nifty Fifty with his new hand me down D5000. Now I am sitting under the canopy next to the fire waiting for this mountain lighting storm to pass over head, tossing logs on to prevent the rain from drowning my light.
