From coming up with the idea to putting the sign with balloons in the parking lot was 4 weeks. Framed photos, developed more shots, I sold pictures that were taken as recently as last week (JACK SKELLINGTON). The logistics to open a store for 2 days is not much different than opening one for, well ever.  I have done both. The only difference is you take it all down 2 days later. Insurance, location, rent, hardware, stock, advertising, and hope… it was all worth it.  I have been lucky enough to have 3 showings in Boston, I have done numerous craft fairs, but never just set up on my own and sold photos. Now I know I can, and even better, I know I have the support of all of you to do so.

The turn out was incredible, thank you to everyone that came by, sent notes and wished well. It is so cool to think that there are pictures I have taken getting unwrapped this Christmas.  and the toys you guys brought down to get shot were awesome. Each having a story, I think the oldest toy I shot was over 75 years old. I am inspired to hold another event, there are more toys and collectibles to photograph.

btw – I will have a Snowman Sunday shot tomorrow (stay tuned).

Don’t forget, the Mill on the Charles photo is scheduled to appear on Chronicle (Boston Channel 5) Monday night 12/17 between 7:30-8pm.
