At 1 am this morning I found myself exploring (respectfully) North Cemetery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We had spent the day exploring the city, had just gotten some hot dogs at Gilley’s, then a brief walk though the cemetery from the 1700’s. Not alone, we had to share the place with 2 cats that were not getting along.  Very creepy and loud cat fight, second experience with cats in graveyards this month. Pitch black, no tripod, pocket camera. Still got some fun shots. Also got some Memorial Bridge photos, using the road and rails for the long exposures.

Wow. I always love to see your composition of light, dark and spacial relationships, You dedication to finding the right moment is obvious. I have trouble finding the right words but “Breathtaking” seems to be my reaction on the majority of your pics.

Awesome bridge pictures! Some of the cematary were kind of creepy. The blurry affect on the headstones almost made them look alive and then you made people into apparitions. Good work!
