
This Friday night at the Medway Parks and Recreation building (formerly the VFW), the Medway Art Association will hold its second annual show. The theme is Amber — open to any interpretation of the word. Personally, I’m leaning toward the idea of time.
As for the photo above, it quite literally “ambered” itself. I was asked to offer this image for the event, so we gave it a warm yellow-orange tone and printed it large for display. It’s also part of an interactive activity planned for guests — with a limited one-of-a-kind, framed version being raffled off.
In addition to the Amber-themed pieces, artists will have a variety of other works on display. I’ll be showing selections from my Down series of metal prints.
