Back to Machias-Seal Island – in the dailypic anyway. I took this hot day to sit and edit more of my Maine trip. Specifically, the outrageous amount of photos I took on Machias-Seal Island over two days last week. The number rivals a wedding session. It was hard to hold back with these guys jumping, flying, hopping, and running around. I got the set down to under 200. If you are bored, you can see them all here. I then cut that set down several times to a strong 42. It still should be smaller but look at them. And it is not just them, it is the island, and Razorbills, Gannets, Terns, and other birds I am not smart enough to remember the names of, though the Puffin is the reason you clicked on the link, so I think you understand.
