Less that 24 hours after the 2015 WMRC Local Music Awards and I got the photos ready to share. There were so many great performances and speeches, mixed in with chaos and fun. I wish I saw more of the Queen tribute put on by Rich Teter and crew. From my position on the other side of the bar where I was taking photos of the nominees it looked awesome. I got to see a few favorite performers like Amanda Cote, If We Go at All, Matt Zajac Bad Men and Velvet Skies. Saw Loose Salute do one of my favorite Monkees songs and finally saw Tigerlily – and now I need to see more, one song was not enough. The whole thing closed with a full set by the awesome Whiskey Church, but I got to say all those are tied as my second favorite performance, slightly beating them out is my friends, Justin and Ray… of Justin and Ray, doing, what I have to say is lacking in the world, paying tribute to Jake and Elwood, the Blues Brothers, backed by the Tony Soul Project. It was just pure awesomeness. They owned that stage like they were on a mission from God.

These pictures are awesome! Makes one feel like they’re right there in the midst of everything! Just looks like so much fun! I would love to be able to take in this event someday! I did look through about 200 of the rest of the pictures, but it is late so I had to quit. But every picture is so full of life and fun and comraderie! Love it!
