Spent the night before my trip kicking off my nostalgia. One of my favorite bands from the 90s – and really even now – played in Providence tonight. I raced down after photographing the Middle School graduation. Del Amitri was one of the main sounds of my film shooting/photo store days. I have seen many bands, but they were always missed. I bought the tickets knowing I would be heading out in the AM. Up until this morning I was not even sure I would see them. But I am glad I did. It was a great show at the Strand. The best part is they are a Scottish band. And the Scottish soccer fans here for the world cup filled the hall. I will watch any concert with them. When the band stops singing. The fans start.
