Today was Pride of Medway and Celebrate Medway Day—one big appreciation of everything that makes this town what it is. Businesses in the morning, community in the afternoon, and fireworks to close it out.
Medway fireworks are something special. They’re right on top of you—filling the entire sky, reflecting in the pond, and lighting up the faces of everyone watching. It’s loud, close, and unforgettable, and we usually get them twice a year, in November for the Santa parade and in July for Medway’s celebrations.
I’ll share more photos from the day tomorrow, but for now, here’s how my town does fireworks—Medway Style.
