My wife has been involved in chorus groups on and off since we started dating back in the last century. She began with the Millis Community Choir, which eventually became the Charles River Chorale. After some time away, she joined the Milford Community Chorus, but today it was nice to see her return to where it all started with Charles River.
The Chorale has grown into an impressive ensemble with nearly 100 singers, and their Holiday “Let it Snow” themed performance today was incredible. Over the past few weeks, we’ve watched Dan take the stage, and it was wonderful to see his mom have her turn. After all, that’s where Dan gets his talent.
I even have photos of her performing with the Charles River Chorale 23+ years ago while nine months pregnant with Dan—just days away from giving birth. Thanks to his mom, he can genuinely say he’s been on stage since before he was born. Today, he got to watch from the seats.
