One of my favorite events and Medway traditions was today: the Senior Walk, during which the graduating seniors stroll through all the younger schools in caps and gowns while the younger ones hold signs of encouragement. I have been covering it since, I believe it started in 2017 (ish). I get to know so many kids in town doing what I do, and soon, some of those younger ones I took photos of as ‘the kid with the sign’ will be the ones in caps and gowns. I will feel even older than I am, but will love that I get to collect these memories for all of them. The next stop is graduation for the MHS Class of 2024, and I’ll be there to capture that, too.
