Last night, we visited the top of the Summit at One Vanderbilt in NYC. A new and very different observation deck. The views are remarkable, taller than the Empire State. The whole place is mirrored and lit up in a futuristic way. Up is down, down is up, built for the Instagram crowd, it is modern and an influencer’s delight. Even old people like me can enjoy it, though I did feel like a chaperone intruding at times for most of the night. It was really well done. I love seeing modern takes on old concepts. Summit in NY, Sphere in Vegas, the future is looking cool. A great way to spend my wife’s birthday – all her idea.
