Feeding time on the sidewalk in front of my house yesterday. Not sure if a car or gravity got this poor squirrel, but the hawk used it as a meal. Rain, cars, trucks, people, my camera, not much was going to disturb this curbside lunch. Finally, a tug and flip of the carcass tossed the remains to the middle of the street and a jeep got too close so the meal was over. They perched in a tree in my backyard to settle their stomach and then took off.
